The course will be divided into three 1-hour sessions, each focusing on the opinion of Farahi scholars on several pertinent youth issues.
Haram or Harmless? (music, pictures/paintings, tattoos, keeping dogs)
Love, marriage, and sex (dress code, courtship and marriage, sex education, sexuality, and LGBTQ issues).
Non-Muslim interactions (jihad, friendship, salvation) and woman’s rights (inferiority, wife-beating, half testimony).

This course is intended primarily for young Muslims. Therefore, priority in registration and in-class questions will be given to youth aged 12 to 30. Because this class will deal with the mature subject matter, anyone under 16 is strongly recommended to get parental consent to participate. Any child may leave for any session they or their parents are uncomfortable for them to attend. Parents may reach out to us for more questions or to state their concerns. Individuals older than 30 will be placed on a waiting list and will be contacted if slots remain open after the 48-hour mark before the start of the event. No specific background knowledge is required for the course. The material is not recommended for children under 12.
The course is free of charge to youth aged 12 to 30. However, to make sure we maximize attendance, a $25 deposit is required from them which will be refunded once the course is completed. Adults older than 30 will be required to pay the full $25 cost.
A full refund will be issued to any registrant if they cancel 48 hours prior to the start of the event.
