Description:

It’s time for fun in the sun with Dr Shehzad Saleem on our trip to Centre Island! Enjoy some private time (without your parents around) to have questions answered by the Islamic scholar. Meet new friends while enjoying fun activities in a beautiful landscape. After the event, there is a Meet and Greet following Maghrib prayers at Dr. Shabbir Ally’s Mosque followed by refreshments. Later join the group for a walk downtown and more fun activities.

3:30 PM to 8:30 PM (Main Event at Centre Island).
Gathering at ferry terminal: 3:30 PM. Departure: 4 PM.
9:00 PM to 9:30 PM (Maghrib Meet and Greet at Shabbir Ally’s Mosque)
9:45 PM to 12 AM (Downtown Walk)

Intended Audience:

This is an excellent opportunity to have fun and engage with Dr. Shehzad Saleem for youth aged 12 to 30. Time will be allotted for youth (ages 12 to 30) to ask Dr. Saleem questions. Parents (and kids under 12) will be asked not to be present for this interactive session. Kids under 16 must have an adult accompany them to the Island. The downtown walk is for youth aged 16 to 30.

Pricing:

This event is FREE for the first 50 youth (aged 12 to 30). This includes the ferry ticket, one meal, and refreshments at the downtown Masjid. Additional food or activities are not included. Older individuals must pay for food and the ferry ride.
